October 2024 Fishing Update!

Thankfully we are enjoying a period of consistent, settled weather right now. This has resulted in much more consistent fishing. Fry patterns, damsels, hares ear and cruncher nymphs, buzzers and bloodworm have produced well on floating, sink tip and intermediate fly lines. When conditions are right and trout are at the surface, a shuttlecock in black with a black buzzer rigged duo style, is fun to try casting to feeding fish.

Rainbows, browns and blues up to 9lbs have been caught during the month. There are currently larger fish swimming the lakes awaiting your fly. So with the prospect of good sport for the remainder of the year, we look forward to your next visit!
