September 2023 Fishing Report

It feels like autumn now, the estate and fishery look wonderful and trout fishing most importantly is much improved from the challenges of summer. It’s our favourite time of year, with opportunities to catch on dries as well as nymphs and lures. This has been very much the case in recent days. Small lures in various colours, buzzers and diawl bach style nymphs, sedges, daddies and F flies on the dry front are effective.

For those of you travelling to fish with us, the caravan site is open until the end of October. If you plan to eat in the cafe, they are open Wednesday to Sunday 10AM-4PM.
